• I was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and have lived there my entire life. It is my home, and I have grown to look past the potholes and appreciate it for its many beauties.

• I attended Sunningdale Elementary School from Pre-Kindergarten to eighth grade, and later Central Collegiate Institute from grades nine to twelve.

• I have received academic awards in creative writing, history, physical science, and math foundations, and graduated high school with an average of around 98.6%.

• I am currently attending the University of Regina (remotely, that is) as a first-year student. I am in their secondary education program, and majoring in English.

• I was inspired to become a teacher through the many role models that I met throughout my high school years. They had a way of bringing out the best in their students, and teaching them to believe in themselves no matter what.

• My immediately family consists of my mom, dad, and younger sister, and I’ve shared many of the best moments of my life with them.

• I love to read. Whether it be novels, comics, or non-fiction, I think that reading is a way that we can come to better understand both the world, as well as ourselves. It can open you up to entire new ways of thinking.

• In my spare time, I’m an avid fictional writer. I’ve currently written two novels, and have no plans of stopping.

• I’ve been a middle/long distance runner for the past three years of my life. I am currently a member of Excel Athletika, and trained with the Moose Jaw Rotary Track Club from 2017-2020.
