Deutsch Land- Gateway to New Opportunities (2)

Hello everyone, last week I talked about my starting journey toward my Deutsch Language where I discussed the alphabet and how to spell those letters, but when I was thinking about the German language to learn smoothly it’s not my style to pick any language from the grammar rules itself. Therefore, I got the idea to start the German language with some phrases or daily expressions without making our journey language complicated.

I tried to break the monotony without giving stress to learn any kind of grammatical rules, because learning a language is a kind of fun and unique skill to shape our personality.

Hallo- Hello

Danke- Thank you

Vielen Dank- Thank you so much

Willkommen- Welcome

Wie geht’s? – How are you?

Mir geht’s gut. – I am going well.

Mir geht’s nicht gut. – I am not doing well.

Guten Morgen- Good Morning

Guten Abend- Good Evening

Above are the small used daily expressions or we can say the common words which are most important to know as by practicing daily we can learn to say smoothly such as how to greet someone, thank you or to ask about how are the important words to start any conversation with someone. These words allowed me a little sense of achievement and happiness that helped to boost my confidence that one day I would be able to learn this beautiful language fluently. Practice makes perfect, so consistency is a key to learn and try to use these all words into your practice, and stay tuned because the best is yet to come.

  1. Hello Nancy,
I admire your interest and effort in learning a new language and of course i will have the opportunity to learn a new language during your journey. Good Luck.

  2. Hello Nancy!
I am really thrilled to know that your project is about a language!
I really understand how difficult is it to learn something new all together but you know what? the fact that you have thought of it to do it, you will do it!!
I smiled when I read where you got happy after getting some words right. This is something I can really relate because my project is on French.
you are doing well and believe me that practice makes perfection and I can not wait to hear you speak Dutch fluently. You can try Duolingo app too, it is very helpful in learning a new language.
