Throughout my life I have spent countless hours dedicated to instructing children in many different activities. When I was 15 I received my Water Safety Instructor Certificate which allowed me to instruct Red Cross swimming lessons. Every summer since then I have instructed at my local pool, and love doing it. This year I was promoted to manager, so it is crazy to look back and see where teaching has brought me.
I also became an assistant dance instructor at my local club when I was 16. This gave me an opportunity to enhance my instructing skills more and work on different ways of teaching movement to children. Finally, this year I was hired as a head instructor/choreographer at Starlight Dance Studio in Regina. I am so excited to go in every class and see the girls bringing my choreography to life, as well as, teach them new skills.

Teaching can take place in many different locations. How does the environment/location effect your teaching?
