Introduction EDTC 300!
Welcome to My Learning Journey!
Hello everyone! My name is Poonam Soni, and I am thrilled to be a part of the EDTC 300 course this semester. I come from a background rich in education and technology. Before moving to Canada, I worked as a Physics teacher and career counselor in India, and now I am exploring the dynamic world of educational technology while pursuing my teaching certification.
As an educator, I had experienced how technology can transform learning experiences. From interactive sessions in Physics to collaborative online tools, I have witnessed how technology creates opportunities for students to engage and grow. That being said, blogging is something new for me! As I am very excited as a new blogger at the moment, I am excited to embrace this journey and use it as a platform to share my thoughts, ideas, and learning experiences.
In this space, I’ll explore educational technology, document my progress, and share insights from my Learning Project. I believe blogs are powerful tools for reflection and collaboration, and I hope to grow both personally and professionally through this process.
Outside of academics, I love spending time with my two amazing kids and my husband, experimenting with Indian vegetarian recipes, baking and practicing yoga. I’m also passionate about lifelong learning and self-improvement, which makes this course even more exciting for me.
I look forward to connecting with all of you, learning from your posts, and exchanging ideas. Let’s make this journey inspiring and impactful!
