Contributing to the learning of others…
Lifelong learner means enhancing your personal competences and knowledge which does not necessarily occur in an educational environment but is also defined as a collaborative term which involves improving life long learning of others through your learning journey. This semester, other than weekly zoom meetings , Discord, Twitter, Word press and blog platforms opened me a new door to interact with my peers which honestly changed my traditional view of learning and teaching. This post is dedicated to demonstrate how I have built communications with my classmates and other educational groups and tried to wrap up my posts and comments as much as possible…
Twitter:
It was my first time setting up a twitter handle. I have never used Twitter as a communication tool. Over the course of EDTC300, I tweeted over 100 posts including resources and replying to others. I also participated in Saskedchat when possible to be aware of various education perspectives. Sharing resources , links and getting a chance to get familiar with Freedly inspired me to read more beyond routine class content. I have included some screenshots of my activities which are easy to approach on my twitter profile as well.. Here is a list of resources I have used to post on twitter:
Blog posts and Comments
It has been wonderful to check all learning project posts by my classmates. Every week I was able to post what I discovered to help me to learn driving. Importantly, I was going to create a good reference for new drivers like me! I have also been so impressed with some of my classmates’ creative learning projects! Through this semester I received encouraging comments which means a lot to me . In addition I tried to comment on as many blog posts as I could every week to support my peers during their learning journey…
Undoubtedly this post can not contain every detail of my contribution to all members of the class although I made an attempt to summarize what I posted, shared and commented to improve the encouraging environment for everyone to be capable of listening to different perspectives and ideas. Now I have learned that contribution can be the most powerful tool for educators to be able to teach and learn Undoubtedly this post can not contain every detail of my contribution to all members of the class although I made an attempt to summarize what I posted, shared and commented to improve the encouraging environment for everyone to be capable of listening to different perspectives and ideas.
