I was able to have my first experiences in the classroom in the fall of 2023. I am so grateful to have had the experience of participating, learning, and teaching in a grade 6 classroom at Harbour Landing School. The school was built approximately seven years ago and is amazing and inspiring with big open areas where students are encouraged to spread out as they work on their learning rather than being confined to traditional desks. My co-operating teacher welcomed my partner and I into his classroom with open arms and has been an amazing mentor and resource. I have learned so much from this 7 day field placement and can not wait to return in March of 2024.
