Field Placement Week 2

The school that I am at is a very friendly environment. It feels like a tight knit community and everyone seems to get a long and respect each other. The sense of community is doubled by the fact that everyone is able to speak French. In the hallways and the staff room you can always hear conversations happening in French. I think this really makes the school feel like a family. The teacher in my classroom is very friendly and welcoming. She makes me feel comfortable in the classroom and shares many aspects of her day with me. She tells me about dealing with parents and difficult students and how this is all a part of the job. The student body is very diverse as well; a lot more diverse than when I had attended. There are students from all different backgrounds and this diversity is what makes the school so strong. Even with the differences that may arise, there is a commonalty between everyone because they are all there to learn French.
