I believe:
- Students should be welcomed into an inclusive environment
- Differences should be celebrated and accepted
- Gender and sexual diversity needs to be encouraged and supported
- Indigenous education is an important and necessary aspect in education
- School should be a safe place for everyone
- Teaching is about creating a better tomorrow
- Teaching is a powerful and important career that needs to be taken seriously
These are the beliefs that I have gained throughout this semester. I plan to add to this list as I further develop my beliefs about teaching.
