Connections to Comprehensive School Health is a poster that shows connections to the 4 components of comprehensive school health in a mini unit plan.

We did a full unit plan for a grade 6 unit on identity with cross-curricular components. This is where the lesson I used in the field, identity masks, came from. There was another lesson where students wrote poems about their identity and there is a variety of resources for students and teachers included.

EPE

This lesson plan is for a grade 8 physical education class. It goes over a dynamic warmup, 4 stations for soccer warmups, and a game of 4 corner soccer.

We created a play kit that included a variety of games that can be played at any time of the school day with various materials. Some activities include a pool noodle drop and a bean bag relay.

ELNG

This is a lesson for a grade 5 English class. It is a think aloud using a picture book by an Indigenous author, The Orphan and the Polar Bear. It goes over the reading strategy of questioning and wonders and gives a demonstration of what that will look and sound like when reading.

This is a plan for a student’s work of writing. It goes over things that were done well and things that could be worked on. There is also an activity that would be helpful for the student to help them work on one of the things that they might need some help with.

This is a 10 day unit plan for a math outcome for Grade 7. It has 10 simple lessons that would help students work on learning to solve one and two step equations.

This is an extended lesson from the scope and sequence. It is focused on the pan balance and the preservation of equality.

This is another extended lesson from the scope and sequence. It is focused on solving one and two step equations with a maze game. Students will solve equations and the answers will lead their way through the maze.
