My artistic representation symbolizes part of my journey towards Truth and Reconciliation. Within my paper I wrote about the importance of nature and the Seven Sacred Teachings which includes the eagle has on the healing process. As well the effects of historical trauma on Indigenous women. With this comes my representation of the two. From a young age the representation and meaning of a Tipi holds importance to myself in this journey as I believe it is where my own path to Truth and Reconciliation began.
