Educational Philosophy
I believe… each child is a unique individual.
I believe… each child deserves the utmost respect.
I believe… my students cab teach me as much as I can teach them.
I believe… students should feel safe, welcome, respected, and important in the classroom.
I believe… in treating children fairly with equity, because they each have unique needs and abilities.
I believe… that demonstrating curiosity and passion about a subject area motivates students to learn more about that subject area and gets them engaged.
I believe… every child deserves a quality education.
I believe… all students learn in their own way.
I believe… in being a role model and confidant to my students.
I believe… teaching requires patience, compassion, empathy, and passion.
I believe… in encouraging students to be the best versions of themselves.
I believe… if I expect the best from my students, I need to give my best to them.
I believe… every child is capable of success, if they have the proper motivation, attitude and direction from their teacher.
I believe… I feel it is important to make myself available to the students and their parents if any questions or problems arise.
I believe… working towards preventative strategies and knowing the causes of disruptive students is important.
I believe… it is important to find constructive solutions to handle students that have lost interest in subject matter, so I will continue to update my education to discover new ways to achieve this.
