In March 2019, I had the opportunity to tour both kindergarten and grade one classrooms at École Harbour Landing and St. Kateri Tekakwitha School (Regina, SK) for an early learning site visit. During the visit, I learned several concepts for arranging and decorating early childhood learning spaces to enhance and promote learning, provoke curiosity, and inspire creativity. I was also provided with several resources to help with program planning to use in my future classroom – such as invitation and activity ideas, book lists, as well as both community and online resources.
