Educational Philosophy

As an individual, I believe that literature and education should be accessible to all. Students should be allowed and encouraged to learn everything and whatever they want. There should be no restrictions on knowledge. Politics should be for everyone, young and old, not just eligible for the voters. As teacher, we are responsible for bringing in different teaching strategies within the classroom. Whether that be through different cultural lenses or utilizing different practices to influence student participation. As a teacher, I have the power to connect with my students and make a difference in their learning. We teach to create confident and competent students that feel comfortable within the skin and the decisions they will make.

I’m still learning. I may have a short educational philosophy now but It will grow as will I.
