Summary of Learning

This summer session has flown by and I am grateful to have been able to take this class with all of you. I enjoyed learning more about contemporary ed-tech issues and seeing both sides of the arguments. Everyone did an excellent job preparing and sharing their information to justify why we should side with your group. Well done! And of course, thank you to Katia for instructing another great class!

Hi! I love your Jeopardy idea! And your ideas when it comes to the debate topics is amazing! I have also felt that technology when applied correctly is helpful but is distractive in the classroom. It was a pleasure taking part in this course with you!

When I was first trying to figure out what I wanted to do for my summary of learning I thought about trying to do it in the Jeopardy style. I quickly abandoned the idea because I felt it was going to be too difficult. Then you come around and absoultely crush it! That was fantastic Sarah!
This is awesome, Sarah! Really creative with the jeopardy and really informative! This was a very thoughtful approach. I guess we’re going to have to keep disagreeing about cellphones though haha. Fantastic work all semester and I appreciate your passion for these topics!

I love the Jeopardy approach…Its more like a game based approach to uncovering your learning trajectory. I think I would like to explore this jeopardy style in future courses I will be taking. Please kindly share the app used.

Wow Sarah! Great work. At first I thought I am hearing an AI is talking throughout the whole video. Later I realized its you. Your idea is brilliant as always. I totally agree with your opinion about the use and prospect of technology. You have shared your deep understanding about the contemporary issues of educational technology. I could not agree more that we need to prepare our children to use the technology properly. And of course it requires help of the parents, educators and the policy makers. Well done.
