In this class, we had the opportunity to work together to make a rubric for an assessment. Not only did this rubric help me engage in discussion about marking and assessing with my peers, but it also helped me to understand the assignment that we were doing as well. Creating the rubric for an assignment it helped me practice how as a teacher I will have to understand the assignment and be able to articulate the expectations clearly with a distinguishing grade attached to the rubric in order that the students may have the best success.  

EFDT Lesson Plan

This is a lesson plan taken from my EFDT 313 course where we had to create a lesson plan based on literacy and place-based education. This lesson has taken what I have learned in this course about differentiated learning and what I have learned in EFDT and created a lesson plan that integrates multiple learning styles and opportunity for use of many different learning styles.
