Wrapping Things Up

Does it ever feel good to put a bow on my first graduate level course. This course has been instrumental in shifting my thought process surrounding online and blended learning practices. Over the past 12 weeks, it has been inspiring to engage with educational colleagues that have passion and drive discussion surrounding best practice. I have learned so many things from so many people in this course. Whether we are forced online again because of a global pandemic or because I want students to become stronger collaborators who see project based learning as engaging, I will implement these ideas in the future. I truly appreciated the supportive feedback shared throughout. I hope to connect with you all again throughout our graduate journey.

Please take a few minutes to view my summary of learning. Cheers!

  1. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I appreciate it that you pointed out that it’s not just putting items up on an LMS and that we really need to create spaces for collaboration and communication. I have not tried out Google Classroom yet for myself with developing courses, but your class Wellness 10 looks very appealing. I appreciate it that you chose it for its accessibility.

  2. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our learning! I really liked how you value using project based learning for creating stronger collaborations. This 21st century skill is very valuable. I enjoyed reading your posts and learning from you in this class. Well done!

I enjoyed watching your summary of learning. Like you, I appreciated the feedback we received from our peers in class discussions and through blog post comments. These interactions with our classmates helped me learn and refine my online class delivery. Your point about choosing an LMS that best suits your students needs resonated with me, I know this is a point that I will consider moving forward after being exposed to the features of so many platforms. I really enjoyed learning with you in this class. Best of luck as you move forward in your Masters’ class journey!
