As a high school teacher, my philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student can learn and achieve success. To accomplish this, my approach prioritizes equity, reconciliation, student-teacher relationships, and a welcoming environment.

This includes everything from the physical space of my classroom to the tone and language I use when interacting with students. This includes fostering a culture of open communication, encouraging collaboration and teamwork, and providing opportunities for students to share their diverse perspectives and experiences.
