Reconciliation
I plan to take part in the professional development unit from Four Seasons of Reconciliation. This will help to to gain a deeper understanding of what I can do personally to contribute to reconciliation, as an individual and as an educator.
I plan to build up a classroom library that is rich with literature created by Indigenous authors and artists.
Classroom Management
I plan to improve my ability to set clear expectations, while still allowing for free exploration and engagement with a topic.
I plan to work to gain a deeper understanding of how to best encourage students to take pride in their work and engage with their learning.
I plan to integrate Indigenous perspectives and content wherever and whenever possible. (It is always possible!)
