I will use restorative justice within my classroom every day for the betterment of my students. I will stop and take the time to listen to my students, and resolve issues. I will also use so the method of circle conversations within the classroom.

I believe learning happens in different ways.

I will use different instructional strategies within the classroom to benefit all types of learners. I will take new approaches to lessons often to keep all students engaged, and to reach different learners.

I believe teaching is about building relationships and understanding students.

I will strive to create meaningful relationships will all my students, and understand their point of view. I will listen to student opinion and views, so they feel valued, and I will also geet each one of my students daily to promote these relationships.

I believe diversity is important in the classroom.

I will create a classroom that celebrates diversity, and learning from others. I will use deserves resources and texts within my classroom and lessons, along with promoting diversity and class activism.

I believe both students and teachers need to respect one another.

I will respect all students that walk into my classroom, along with their values and ideas. I will both teach respect to students and demonstrate what it means to be respectful of others. By respecting students I will create a positive classroom culture, that is centered around respect.
