Who I Am?

Softball

I have a passion for softball, I have been playing since I was 10 years old and coaching since I was 16 years old. Some achievements I have had from softball are winning a bronze metal at the 2016 Western Canadian Summer Games, and receiving an athletic softball scholarship to the University of Jamestown. I play on the University of Regina Cougars Softball team and this past year we won the 2019 National Canadian Collegiate Softball Association Championship. Our goal is head back to the 2020 Canadian Nationals and defend our championship for the third year in a row. During the summer league I play for Regina Sleek, which will be hosting the 2019 Women’s National Championship this year.

Awards and Volunteering

I received the Individual of the Year Award from the Town of Moosomin in 2017 for coaching softball and doing skill + pitching clinics. I received and athletic and academic scholarship to attend school and play softball at the University fo Jamestown. In 2016, 2015, and 2014 I received top female athlete award from Moosomin McNaughton High. I volunteered coaching junior volleyball and badminton at Moosomin McNaughton High and coached the under 12 Moosomin Rangers softball team for two years, in 2016 and 2017. I volunteered as a parent helper at Arcola East Preschool. I also volunteered to ref volleyball junior and senior boys and girls during high school.
