Welcome to me e-portfolio! My name is Mingyeong Kim and I am a first year student at University of Regina. Through exploring multiple hobbies and experiences, I have decided to enroll in Secondary Math Education program. I enjoy playing instruments such as piano and guitar, as well as bake on my free time.
My family and I moved to Regina, Saskatchewan in 2012 from South Korea. Since then, I was able to expand my knowledge of both languages, cultures, and knowledge to become an educated student. Experiencing different surroundings and communities helped me to acquire skills and identities that I have today.
From grade 12, I have been determined to become a teacher who can not only teach well, but understand and connect with my students to have a positive influence on them. I look forward to grow and learn more of what it means to be a teacher!
