My name is Mingyeong and I’m in my second year at the education faculty. I’m majoring in math and minoring in physics— or at least that’s my plan. I’m from South Korea and I moved to Canada nine years ago with my family.
I’ve been involved in social media and technology ever since I was in elementary school, but I’m not very familiar with educational technology. With schools going online due to COVID-19, I had difficulties adjusting to online platforms such as Zoom and ProctorTrack. Although I had problems with online school, I also think that this is a good experience and preparation for my future career as a teacher. I am unfamiliar with blogging because I’m not used to writing informal posts, but I’m excited to share my experiences and thoughts, as well as read other people’s blog posts.
