Hello all, so for my blog this week I am going to share screenshots of the videos I watched (100 times) to learn All Apologies by Nirvana. For the record, my fave version is the MTV Unplugged (back when MTV was cool and played music/ supported artists). I remember going to my friend Aaron Lutes’ house to watch because his parents had a massive satellite dish and got MTV. However, all I have is an electric so I am learning the version off In Utero(The band’s 3rd studio album) video by Jon MacLennan

Jon MacLennan looks a bit odd to be covering grunge rock, nevermind though, he slays.

Here he is teaching me Drop D tuning

Jon is (patiently) teaching me the main riff

Now I am learning power chords, yes they are as cool as they sound.
Thanks all for viewing/reading. Who is your favorite YouTuber to learn from, and why?
Much love, much respect

I love Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged album! It was my first exposure listening to a lot of their music, and I was surprised at how much of it I already recognized from other media. A lot of their music doesn’t sound like their most popular songs, eh?
