“Although all teachers are individuals who have their own unique ways of teaching, they are also members of a profession bound by a social contract … [with a] commitment to high professional standards of conduct and competence” (STF, 2019, p. 2). All teachers have their own individual teaching style and creative assignments, but they are required to act in a professional manner. This individuality inspires students and creates a fun atmosphere where students can learn and grow. In the professional aspect, being a teacher means being punctual, prepared, and continually giving one’s best, even when they don’t feel like it. Further, they must follow appropriate dress codes, as well as use appropriate language. In addition, teachers must attend and partake in PD events to help continue professional growth.
