So, this week I decided to go deeper with the Yousician app for my guitar-learning journey. I had a lot of fun exploring this app because of the step-by-step guidance. So far, I just feel it’s a good app for a beginner like me with no idea about strings. Not only did I learn that my Guitar strings have numbers and my guitar has frets, but my playing fingers do have numbers as well. What I love most about this app is how it lets me play what I’ve learned in a song and this gives me a sense of achievement. A song plays that guides me to pluck the particular string I’ve learned.
So, this is me transitioning between notes in a song by pressing firmly on the string of different frets.
Learning to play with different fingers is a struggle for me. I find it hard to transition between my index finger (number 1) and my middle finger (number 2) but I sure will with more practice.
As I continue this ride with my guitar, I hope to learn how to pluck more strings and play more notes on different frets as I gradually progress to playing chords.
