I had such a great time at my placement. It was so amazing to make such great relationships with the staff and I really enjoyed getting to know all of the students. I am so thankful for Waldeck School for allowing me to do my field placement there. This experience as a whole has only solidified my decision in wanting to become an educator. My favourite part about my experience was seeing improvement in the students and them gaining confidence in themselves in the short time I was in their classroom. 

The one thing specifically I will take away from my cooperating teacher was when we were discussing the behaviour of a specific student and she said that they were attention seeking but quickly corrected herself saying the student was connection seeking. That was something that really struck a chord with me, and is something that I will always remember.

Overall, it was neat to see the classroom dynamic from the perspective of a professional rather than a student.
