  2. PESP publishes research on schools’ physical activities, club sports and leisure programmes. This journal includes papers that cover a broad range of physical activities such as aquatic, martial arts, dance and outdoor and adventure activities. PESP focuses a lot on the interaction between learners, coaches and teachers.

  2. The Journal of adventure education and Outdoor Learning aim to promote adventure and the outdoors as a medium for learning and recreation. The journal provides dialogue research, teaching methods and perspectives on outdoor education and Outdoor Learning. It posts papers on social, cultural, political, and environmental issues in the outdoor field. As well as focussing on Outdoor Learning in physical education and all subject areas.

  2. This book offers solutions and adaptations for teaching today’s diverse student population.  The book includes ways to manage behaviour as well as adapting and modifying instructional methods and activities to include all students. It also promotes reflective learning and the how-to approach when teaching adaptive physical education.

  2. This book uses cooperative learning as a way to teach students to live a lifelong healthy and active lifestyle. It includes lesson plans, activities in regards to Cooperative learning. This book is directed to middle and high school levels in physical education. 
  1. Performance-based Assessment for Middle and High School Physical Education. Written by Lund & Kirk. Published by Human Kinetics in 2020.
  2. This book helps develop Performance-based assessments for physical education classes. It guides teachers to implement tasks, games and challenges that allow for adaptations and progressive assessment of students. This book provides teachers with sample rubrics, unit plans, success criteria and modification options for performance-based assessments and progressive assessments.

  2. PE Universe is a website that helps teachers find new ideas for Physical Education. It offers ideas for PE class whether is virtually, outside, in the gymnasium etc. PE universe is a social media website where PE teachers around the world can share videos of their ideas and exercises.

  2. PE Central provides information, lesson plans, both board ideas, assessment ideas Etc for physical education teachers classes. It keeps teachers up to date on what works in physical education and what’s new.  PE Central has a big focus on adapted PE ideas and exercises.

  2. PHE America is a website that provides ‘quick read’ articles to promote active and healthy lifestyles. It covers current issues and obstacles in PE class and tries to offer solutions.  PHE America also offers ideas on how to implement technology into PE class.
