A Little Side Tracked

As I have said in my last few blog posts, I have been in the middle of the move and have not been able to practice, my drums as much as I hoped to. For this week, I was not able to access any of my drum sets. I decided to focus on another aspect of drumming that I want to improve on that is drumstick tricks. I always thought that drumstick tricks, such as spinning, are SOO cool and I never thought I would have the opportunity to learn them. I watched the video below that shows two tricks, toss and spin. I was able to learn the toss easily, but for the spin I am still struggling with it.

I wanted to give you a preview of the trick toss, but I ended up not being free videotape for a while and when I was finally free, I had access to my acoustic drum set again. So I added a little twist once I finished the toss!
