Out all of the careers out there I choose to be a teacher because I truly love working with children, and I am reminded of this every time I go to my placement. I think that being a teacher is one of the most important jobs there is, because a teacher is responsible for shaping the minds of the next generation. Teachers can also be very influencal on their students, they can change the course of someones life. I know that without certain teachers influence, I would not be where a I am today, and who knows what I would have chosen to do with my life. There are also many added bonuses to becoming a teacher, which include summers off, but by far the best one is getting to see the changes in students as the grow into young adults.
