l was born and raised in the Philippines and had a passion for teaching.
I began teaching in the Philippines at the age of 20. After 6 years, I decided to focus on computer-based business for ten years then I moved to Thailand to pursue my teaching career.
With dedication and student-centered approach in classroom teaching, I was awarded the Best Teacher by the Ministry of Education, Bangkok Thailand in 2017 by the nomination of my beloved school in the province of Ranong, Thailand.
I taught there for eleven years while I had to finish my MAEd – Major in Mathamatics.
I moved to Canada to pursue my PhD in Education, but eventually I laddered down to Master of Education-Major in Teaching, Learning and Leadership.
I am very passionate inspiring my students to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
I am also an advocate for international students to pursue higher education despite the struggles of adjusting to a new country, culture and language.
I like to pursue further studies and love to teach in diversified classrooms.
I hope, my journey could be an inspiration to many like me, and I continue to make a difference in the lives of my students, including the L1/L2 community and in the University of Regina.
