Hello everyone, my name is Stephen Poll and this is my seventh masters course. I was born and raised in Regina and now reside in White City. I’m currently in my second year as a part time vice principal and teacher at the Allan Blakely Adult Campus in Regina. This is my 18th year of teaching and I have taught in many subject areas. I’m an accredited chemistry and biology teacher who has a minor in English, has taught math, drafting, robotics, and most recently auto mechanics. My teaching style is one of the reasons I ended up in the PAA subject area, as I strongly believe in a hands on learning and making sure students understand how the information we are teaching them is applied. I’m an empathetic leader that relies on the strength of relationships to foster growth in the colleagues I work with. My wife of 18 years is Renise and we have 3 children together, Issac (14), Orsen (11), and Priya (9). Our family interests include time at the lake, sports (mainly hockey at this point), and Disney+.
