Educational Philosophies

My general belief and philosophy about education is that, when done right, education should fit and benefit everyone. I believe that from the moment students enter the classroom until the moment they leave it, they should feel safe, accepted, seen, and represented. I think that education should not only teach students about academics but also teach them social skills, how to build relationships, and how to be kind, caring and inclusive of their peers and towards themselves.

Both my Treaty philosophy and my Relationship Philosophy center around the idea of being inclusive, accepting, truthful, caring, and around acknowledging and appreciating differences.
