Play the song “Thunderstruck” by ACDC. Every time the song says “THUNDER”, have the class do some sort of movement. Example: squat jump, jumping jack, touch your toes.
During a quiz or random questions, have the multiple choice answers be represented by movement.
Example: A) jumping jacks B) disco dance C) pretend your chicken D) clap your hands
This is a fun way to see the students comprehension of the material but also gets them moving.
A classic game of rock, paper, and scissors… with a twist!
This is a version of quick, in your head, math solving. In stead of using the common hand signals for rock, paper, scissors, you can put up fingers 1-5. At the same time, your partner you’re playing against will put up their own choice. Then whoever can add the two numbers together the fastest and answer correctly, wins the round.
