Digital Footprints

Digital footprints are something that I find so interesting. We could have no idea who someone is but know so much about them through their digital presence. I am honestly very careful about what I post online as well as what I share and like. I feel like now there are so many things that we have to be careful about online. Liking something that could be controversial such as something to do with politics could get people mad at you. It is also important to watch what people are posting about you. If you are tagged in something that also becomes a part of your digital footprint.

For me, I found looking my name up on google to be interesting. I never had anything come up on there before besides someone else with the same name that is a body builder. Now, when I search my name up this blog also comes up which leads people to learn about me from it. I am honestly not a fan of that and have turned that setting off. I know what is already on google will most likely stay there for a long time but I wanted to stop any other posts from popping up. I just find there is a lot of weirdos out there and I feel better having less of an online presence. I know for some things like jobs it can be a good thing.
