While working over the last few months in preparation for my time as a teacher who will encounter EAL students throughout my career, planning and understanding how I can best help them and encourage their uniqueness as well as their language development has been key. This intro to an instructional unit has been prepared for the use of EAL teachers who may need ideas of how to incorporate language learning into fun and interactive activities!
