Greetings from a Blogging rookie

I absolutely love reading blogs! I have several friends who have them and I view them as a wonderful tool to reflect, de-stress, share, and inspire. My friends have described it as a therapeutic experience for them and also, a great way to share their talents and skills! I like being on the receiving end, gathering tips, tricks, hacks, and just reading to gain perspective and clarity on things.

I love to write, but I am old school. Give me a piece of paper, a journal, or an email, and I can orchestrate my thoughts quite well. The idea of sharing through a technological means is completely out of my comfort zone but I am ready for the challenge! I have a creative side that blogging kind of speaks to.

I can maneuver my way through the digital world-I have the typical social media platforms; Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat. I use those mostly to share articles and family adventures with close family and friends, and to keep up to the current world gossip. I use my Twitter for educational and research purposes. I love this platform as a way to connect to other educators and to brush up on current best practices. Anything that rates low on the scale of complexity and I’ve got it mastered. Anything ranking even on a moderate scale, and I am likely to pull my hair out. But hey, I can’t fall off the floor right! This meme pretty well depicts what I am thinking in my head anytime I touch technology.
