I believe classrooms should be warm and caring communities where children can speak their minds and blossom and grow. Children are unique, and every child has something to bring forwards in a classroom. Teaching these students to be themselves is so important to me. Teaching is a continuous learning process for students, colleagues, parents, and the community. Our world is constantly developing new strategies, ideas, and philosophies. As I grow in this profession, I know my educational philosophy may change a little, and that’s okay because it means I’ve grown and learned new things as an educator.
