Community Service

I Have always been an active member in my community, throughout my life. Being involved in your community helps build healthy relationships, it is also a great way to give back and to be able to make a difference. Below I have my services that I participated in to be able to give back to the community.

CanSkate:

CanSkate is a great program it focuses on the basic skills development, it is fun and it gets children to participate. I was a trained program assistant so, I was able to help teach younger children the fundamental skills of learning how to skate. I also learned different teaching techniques and I was able to support the children.

Prairie Storm Softball:

I played competitive softball and doing so brought me lots of opportunities. My team and I were able to help put on skill development camps. I taught younger kids the basic skills on how to play softball, also I got to teach specific drills to do with back catching. I was able to participate in softball camps for 7 years.

White City Dancing School:

I have been dancing for 14 years, being involved in a club for that long I found brought a lot of responsibilities. The younger kids looked up to us so, we always had to be our best. My group and I would help teach classes and get students ready for competition. Having kids look up to you has taught me that I always need to be the best version of myself, to help those who are in need and to be positive even if you do not come in first place.
