Most schools have a lot of educational tools they provide to students and parents but below are some great resources that teachers and parents can purchase at minimal to no cost at all.

Scholastics Canada

Scholastic Canada is one of Canada’s leading publishers and distributors of children’s books and educational materials for both home and the classroom. For over 60 years Scholastic Canada has introduced young people to the joys of reading.

Hoopla

Is free and available through local libraries. They have endless books, movies, music, and more.

Kahoot!

Kahoot! delivers engaging learning to billions. Teachers, students, businesses and parents all use Kahoot! for group learning, e-learning, distance learning, and self-study everywhere!

BrainPOP

Is a multi-subject website/app for preschoolers (BrainPOP Jr.) up to grade 8.

Reading Eggs

Is a website/app that teaches spelling, reading, comprehension, and more for children from ages 4-13.

Math Seeds

Is a math website/app to help children ages 4-13 with basic counting and math skills.

Quizlet

Helps students (and their teachers) practice and master whatever they are learning in a variety of subjects. Quizlet provides engaging, customizable activities..

Seesaw

Seesaw helps educators engage all learners, transform family engagement, and save time. Students explore a variety of powerful and intuitive tools (like draw+record, collage, video, and more!) to show what they know in the way that works best for them. Students and/or educators can easily upload various activities from school to home, allowing parents/families to see their child’s work.
