Before I had been accepted into the Education program I had been volunteering at a home daycare for the past 2 years taking care of children ages 1 to 6. My duties include playing with the children, taking them outside, helping them dress, making lunch and snacks for the children, and supervising when they are outside. I even help with teaching the children basic skills, such as reading, counting, and speaking. I am currently still volunteering at the daycare and will continue to as long as I can.
