Hi! My name is Carson Sombach and I am in my third year in the Kinesiology and Education joint degree. I am planning on majoring in Physical Education and minoring in Mathematics.

I have always enjoyed school. It was the place I got to see my friends everyday, improve my education, and where I played my favorite sports. I had many great teachers who became role models in my life, and that was one of the reasons why I want to pursue teaching as a profession. Another reason I want to pursue teaching is because I love to coach. I have coached many football and basketball teams before. I believe coaching creates a unique bond with kids that you cannot get in the classroom.

My life at home is kind of crazy and never boring as I have four brothers and a dog. My family is very competitive and we are very close to each other. My biggest passion is football. My whole family is just as passionate about football as I am. I play on the University of Regina Rams, and so does my older brother and my two little brothers. My dad and uncle also played on the Rams. I was playing football in the front yard since I was old enough to run. I learned the game very fast and became very involved in the sport. I have coached the RMF PeeWee Mustangs and the Bantom Eagles in the past. I have helped out with coaching Defensive Backs on the Miller Marauder High School Football Team. I also coached the South Saskatchewan Selects 12u division, where we went down to Texas for a football tournament.
