Being professional means that you are portraying yourself in a way that is not only appropriate but in a way that models proper behavior. I think that professionalism comes from how you carry yourself, and how you engage with others around you. When I think of someone professional, I think of someone who can work effectively by incorporating core values and their skills into their work. (reliability, respect, balance, etc.) It is also important to note that professionalism in teachers is crucial and involves important tasks like reflection, continuous learning, and upholding high standards of care.
