DS 1.1, DS 1.2, & CP 1.7 – What Occurs in Spring & Summer (Art Creation)

I did this lesson during my pre-internship. This lesson touched on outcome DS 1.1 within indicator (h), DS 1.2 within indicator (d), and outcome CP 1.7 within indicator (b). This lesson focused on the seasons of spring and summer. For this lesson, we began by using season cards. With these cards, we sorted them based on the season that the activity or object fit the best with. Then, we talked once again about what the season looks like. For example, spring is very colourful because the flowers are growing from all of the rain and summer is bright green because everything is fully grown. Then, the students made trees using pom-poms for each of the seasons using the knowledge that we had gained.
