  • I volunteered Sundays at the Special Olympics Figure Skating Program. 
  • I was only three years old the first time I stepped onto ice with my skates. 
  • I was in competitive figure skating for thirteen years. 
  • When I was very young, I was in a ballet academy. 
  • If I could be any animal in the world it would be a panda. They are a bit klutzy, have quite the sense of humour, but also are incredibly caring. 
  • I Program Assisted with Skate Regina since I was nine years old. 
  • At the age of sixteen, I changed from being a Program Assistant with Skate Regina to a CanSkate coach. 
  • I have had the opportunity to volunteer and work at a Preschool. 
  • I have also been able to work at a summer camp ran by a preschool for a few summers in a row. 
  • I have always loved being in the teacher role. 
  • My family constantly gives me inspiration to see the value of bonding with others. 
  • Ever since a young age, I have always wanted to be just like the teacher.
