DS 1.1, DS 1.2, & CP 1.7 – What Occurs in Fall & Winter (Art Creation)

I did this lesson during my pre-internship. This lesson touched on outcome DS 1.1 within indicator (h), DS 1.2 within indicator (d), and outcome CP 1.7 within indicator (b). This lesson focused on the seasons of winter and fall. For this lesson, we began by using season cards. With these cards, we sorted them based on the season that the activity or object fit the best with. Then, we talked once again about what the season looks like. For example, winter is very white because of the snow and fall is colours that include red, yellow, and orange because the trees are changing. Then, the students made trees using pom-poms for each of the seasons using the knowledge that we had gained.
