Each of the quotes chosen below have perfectly illustrated my view on teaching. An incredibly important aspect to teaching is that the learning is hands on, rather than the students simply listening to a teacher speak the whole lesson. I am also a strong believer in honouring the past of my students. I am very aware that some of my students may have a rough past or even a difficult home situation. I am hopeful to honour this and make adaptions to the students’ education. Honouring every culture is also essential. The students should learn about all of the different cultures that their classmates might be. This will lead to inclusion and education for all.

“One of the beauties of teaching is that there is no limit to one’s growth as a teacher, just as there is no knowing beforehand how much your students can learn.”
– Herbert Kohl
