The mini-lesson represents for me a positive teaching experience. Overall the students have learned the topic. I think it is room for improvement in my next mini-lesson or online classes for my students.
The online courses are a fantastic platform for the teaching process because the teacher can interact appropriately with the students and, at the same time, they can assess, almost in real-time, what the students have understood and accomplished regarding their tasks. The lesson’s presentation was well structured, but I have run it to fast. I suppose to emphasize more every step and to give more details on my speech. It was a little bit difficult to connect my lesson idea or topic to the curriculum. In the end, it was useful to have my first experience teaching online to see what the speaking/presentation pace should be, and to be aware of what I have to do next time.
