This week, I was home for Thanksgiving so i decided to make cupcakes for my family. I first want onto Pinterest to find inspiration on how I want to decorate them. I use Pinterest a lot to find inspiration and to learn new skills from. Pinterest is a good place to find so many different things, which helps come up with new ideas that you might have not thought of. After going on Pinterest for a bit, i made a board called Cake Decorating. This board has a bunch of different ideas in it like decorating ideas, different piping tips, how to create a cake and how to icy it. Having this board helps me get inspiration on what i want my cake to look like.

So when I was thinking of what i should do for my cupcakes, i went on Pinterest and looked at different of thanksgiving themes. After being on Pinterest for a bit i found two post i liked which were of pumpkins. I first found a post on how to make it look like a pumpkin which i first used, I than found another post that had a bunch of different styles of pumpkins.

I first made my butter cream and split the cupcakes into three different colours, orange, brown and green. After i was doing mixing the colours i put the icing into 4 different piping bags. Two of them were orange with the piping tips of 127 and 2C. Green had the piping tip of  round 6 and brown had the piping tip of round 5. I then piped the orange icing in different ways looking off the photos from Pinterest for inspiration. Once i got done with putting the orange icing i added the green to make levels and added brown to make the stem. After that my pumpkin cupcakes were done.
