The summary of learning project is something that always stresses me out. I spend a lot of time throughout the semester ensuring that I have put a lot of effort and reflection into my blog posts each week, as well as using my tracker form to ensure that I am getting to all of my peer’s required posts for that week. I try to go over and above and comment on absolutely every post, but I am human, and sometimes I can’t get to all of the extras. Over the course of the next few weeks (or until the course personal evaluation comes out), I will continue to comment on the mandatory blog posts for the week, as well as try to get to any and all of the additional optional posts as well.

A Quick Update of Our Major Learning Project

Okay team, I just wanted to write a quick overview of where we are at in terms of our major learning project. For those of you that don’t know Durston and I have been working on making a podcast channel and have recorded three episodes as of right now. If you want to hear more about the first episode I blogged about, check it out here. Anyways, Durston has been working very diligently at editing the second episode and getting everything published and in order that way. A huge shout out to him, as he has really pulled the weight off both of us with his technical skills.

By golly Ms. Molly, we’ve almost made it! This past week we discussed many different moral, ethical, and legal issues in the world of education. Some of the topics we discussed were, but are not limited to: sites such as Coursehero and Chegg, Teacher’s Pay Teachers, sharing created and purchased materials, material ownership, copyright shakedowns, OER resources, terms of services, interacting with students and families on social media and more! It was quite an action-packed class, that’s for sure!
